Are you an accomplished and proven senior operational leader with experience in overseeing either food or fresh produce production/manufacturing sites? Do you have vast amounts of experience and a proven track record in implementing change, improving operational performance, and driving behavioural or cultural development?
Join us at Becketts Foods in our brand new role as Site Operations Manager leading four 24/7 shifts, goods in and despatch, reporting in to our Head of Operations. We are looking for an ambassador for Becketts Foods. We need someone who is a positive influencer who will progress and mentor their team of six direct reports, with a wider team of around 300 amazing colleagues.
Role responsibilities will include:
Supporting Head of Operations to deliver a fantastic fans experience to both customers and their teams
Creating a skilled team who are safe, trained and capable to carry out all elements of their roles.
Create and maintain an innovative environment that encourages colleague participation in raising standards of quality, team working and communication
Interface with the customers during site visits and audits, business reviews and other key opportunities
Develop and deliver the operations strategy through a cascade of the overall business strategy by overseeing the operational function within Becketts Foods, ensuring all operational KPIs are achieved, and finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirements.

Who we are looking for:
Leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment essential
Able to demonstrate a broad business awareness at senior level
Proven experience of management, driving positive change
System savvy, including MES/ERP
Advanced Food Hygiene Level 4 or equivalent
Level 3 HACCP certified and Level 2 Health and Safety
Experience of coaching and mentoring a team to deliver results
